I needed to decide which speakers to purchase and having read various online reviews, I had a shortlist. However the proof is in the eating, and I knew I had to audition to make the best choice for myself. Sevenoaks provide listening rooms for customers so I asked if I could get a demo of a couple of those speakers, and if I could bring in my amp and CD player for the audition. I was given a room and I spent hours in there listing to four different speakers and was able to make a choice. Without the facilities and the support of the staff at Sevenoaks (in Sevenoaks) and in particular the patience and advice from Gavin I wouldn't be certain my money was spent on the best sounding speakers for my own HiFi components.
