I was referred to SFL by a friend who had used it for his shipping around 2012, I spoke to them and based of what they said I shipped two TVs and some other stuff, I was told that the shipping will happen in around 90 days , which was fine with me , I shipped the TVs on Nov 24th 2022 and today is May 22nd 2023 ,I had already paid for customs as well . Yet there is no news about my TVs , I kept continuously emailing the US team and they were responsive, but the Indian counterparts of SFL are highly unprofessional , they do not inform you about anything and it is you who has to continuously follow-up and get all the info, The reason cited was that all the shipments were severely backed up with Mumbai customs , As per their report the TVs landed in Mumbai on Feb 24th but they haven’t cleared customs until May 15th , Even after May15th there was no movement and after consistent pursuance , they had given me a tracking number and said my shipment would arrive in 4 days, After 4 days I got just a part of my shipment , I called the US customer care and they explained to me that the TVs and rest of the stuff will come in another shipment, the least I would have expected is that the Indian team is responsive and honest about delivery dates. The funny part is I had shipped something else (electronics ) thru mumbai customs at the same time with a diff shipper and they didn’t have any problem with Mumbai customs , it arrived much before the shipping date. Finally one fine day when my TVs arrived on July 1st , my other stuff the converters to they tvs never came , I waited months after months and on 12th October they finally told me they lost my stuff and can offer $7.20 as compensation , Yes my friends you read that right it’s $7.20. In the whole process , their team is highly unresponsive, they keep sending me pics of some other customer asking me if that belongs to them, they have no idea what they pack and how they pack , these guys are cheaters , their business etiquette is horrible , any sensible person with a sane mind would never do business with them. I am also sharing pictures of the boxes from them showing they were received , I am pretty sure these boxes went to some other customer due to those guys mismanagement.
