Shake Shack have a major software glitch on their payments system. Eating in? Select a table, scan QR code, order and pay for food. Your own credit card's internet page can state "payment successful" but it may not have been. We were quoted a 20 min wait and after 30-odd my food hadn't arrived ( the others' had ). The cashier could show me my order on his screen and could see that payment hadn't been taken. He said they didn't have time to tell customers that they needed to re-order as it happened so often, on the screen he showed me 20-30% of all eat-in orders had failed in this way without the customer being notified. Lots of disgruntlement, I left hungry and won't be returning.
