The cottage was recently renovated and is well equipped and comfortable. We stayed there as a couple but there would be plenty of space for four people. It's a peaceful area and the country lanes are lovely for gentle walks, while Oughterard is just a short drive away. The friendly owners live just next door, which is very convenient. We can highly recommend Rose Cottage.
