I am having an issue with my washing machine. It's entering a pre-wash cycle on every program, and I have no idea how to turn this off. I called Sharp (and got through to the home appliances not microwaves team) and was informed that there's no technical support available and I'll have to go to the retailer. The retailer can only provide the manual, designed by Sharp, which doesn't have the information I need. I find it hard to believe there's no technical support at all for post-purchase consumers unless we pay for extended warranties, and that they only advice in the form of repair visits. This is astonishing customer service and will make me think twice about ever purchasing Sharp again. It's pretty evident that Sharp have been licensing out their brand (which is why they have 3 different consumer lines, one for TVs, one for home goods, and another for microwaves) which means there's no consistency of service. Definitely going for Bosch next time. The price mark up is worth it for the better service.
