Bought a Sharp washing machine with 3 year warranty. However when I had a problem and tried to contact Sharp, I was ignored. In addition, the laundry is *so* economical on water, the clothes only get slightly damp and don't come out clean.I wash on cold only, which needs more water to agitate the laundry better and wash dirt out and this machine doesn't have an option for cold washing with extra fill. I solved it by running a hose into the drawer and filling manually, which is time consuming, taking up to 3 minutes to get enough water into the drum. You'd think in these times of being green, and high electricity costs, than an extra fill cold water wash would be possible. Water's cheaper than electricity and heating cold water costs a lot of money. The machine is *very* noisy on a spin too. Sounds like a helicopter taking off and no matter *how* level it is, the drum bounces about and makes the machine dance across the floor.I'm used to Samsung which had more laundry options and didn't bounce about. The jumping and bouncing has smashed *loads* of tiles on the floor. So much so that I need to completely redo the floor. It would have been cheaper in the long run to buy Samsung again.Perhaps this washing machine is designed to wash only clean clothes, making them smell fresh with a small bit of water and some detergent. It's certainly not man enough to cope with a smallholding's mud, grease, stains, dog and pony slobber and more and cotton rugs and pet towels put down for an elderly incontinent cat and a couple of dribbly old ladies (dogs).
