We recently purchased a new build and, unfortunately, our experience with the agency was disappointing. While the early interactions were positive, we encountered several issues later on regarding advertised details that should have been known by experienced agents. We were only informed of these problems months after agreeing to the sale, which caused considerable stress. Even though the house was nearly ready, we received the keys a staggering 13 months after going sale agreed. Much of this delay was attributed to the developer, but the communication from the agency was often so limited that we questioned their involvement. The final stages were particularly underwhelming, with the keys just dropped through the letterbox and no acknowledgment of our purchase. A brief final email we sent went unanswered. Compared to the positive experiences of friends with other agencies, this fell far short of expectations for a firm of this size and reputation, leaving us with a very sour taste.
