On my first shipment, they failed to declare the actual freight I paid ($48), and FedEx used a default rate of $125 for customs. That inflated the dutiable value and I ended up paying 70% of the item’s cost in duties and taxes.I reached out with full documentation, but ShipToBox deflected everything to FedEx and customs. The issue wasn’t about duties—it was about missing freight declaration, which is not something I control as a customer. Their replies were generic and didn’t offer any resolution or accountability.I won’t be using their service again, and I hope others double-check the fine details before trusting the process.
