UPDATED to 3 star: after I filed complaint thru BBB stating if i don't get refunded for ship portion of damaged goods, then all my business will be thru Michaels, so they can either refund me the under $5 cost for the ship portion or lose all the $$ they have been making off me every year on every holiday....so I now got refunded today. From now on, if I am ever able to actually go to one of their stores, (difficult since i have no transportation and can only go if i hitch a ride with someone), that I will only shop there if I can actually SEE what i am buying...pretty much done with shopping online thru them because it just isn't worth the hassle!).------------PRIOR 1 star review:3rd time I received defective items when ordering online, and every time there has been an issue jumping thru hoops until finally got refunded, but every time they would short you a penny!? what's that about? This time bought 3 old fashioned print xmas wood decor blocks only to have them arrive smelling toxic/like was doused in turpentine. I contacted them telling them I needed a refund and gave them price, but also that they needed to refund a portion of the ship charge because the remaining 2 items i ordered were just cheap add ons that came to only $4.36 (that's with the tax), so them charging me $7.95 for an order where the bulk of it was damaged, is totally unfair....since i never would have ordered the the other 2 items (small rubber stamp and a sheet of stickers) and pay almost twice their cost to ship!...that's insane! Yet not only didn't they refund me any of the ship charge, totally ignored that part of my email....just sent email saying to toss defective items and their refund (again) was a penny short and no ship charge refunded. I have shopped online every holiday, NO MORE! Even my husband says enough is enough (prior order was for a large folding shelf unit that arrived in a box taped up with cardboard pcs added on...like someone else had opened it already, and inside every shelf was either cracked or falling off, and all the screws that were supposed to hold the shelves on fell out of the box...why you would even ship out such JUNK is beyond me!). After that fiasco i THOUGHT i would be safe just ordering small decor items....well after getting this toxic smelling 'made in china' garbage, which I paid shipping on that I'm not getting back, I am SO DONE with this co....who BTW isn't really Christian anymore, since the owner/founder SOLD it...he's only on the board now, but retired, so not even running the co. anymore...which explains the HORRIBLE RATINGS Hobby Lobby now gets online on every Review you can find on them! AVOID at all costs, and like others said, shop at Michaels, because even online, if you get damaged goods, PHONE them and they IMMEDIATELY refund you (back to your cr cd....not a 'gift card' like hobby lobby does, where you're forced to have to spend your money back to their store!), and they send you a prepaid return label, and if item is too heavy to drop off at USPS or UPS etc., they will schedule a pickup for you, or if damaged, they usually tell you to just dispose of item. But as far as Hobby Lobby goes, they are DEAD TO ME!!!
