Review:I recently experienced a gut-wrenching betrayal at the hands of Shopify, and I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience to warn other small business owners. After building my business on Shopify’s platform I finally made my first sale and eagerly awaited the fruits of my labor. However, instead of celebrating this milestone, I received a devastating email informing me that my business posed a “level of risk” and that Shopify would be unable to support it any longer.This heartless decision left me in disbelief and despair. Despite following Shopify’s guidelines meticulously, I was unceremoniously cast aside without warning or explanation. What’s more appalling is that Shopify waited until I made my first sale and the customer paid before they decided to pull this unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. And the told me they will be taking my funds and refuse to give them to me for 120 days with no justified or valid reason or explanation they have no right to do so and they are not entitled to my funds I believe that they do this so that they can use our funds for 120 days to make themselves money from our earnings I’m sure that I am nowhere near the only person they are doing this with the same goes with PayPal cash app and all the other “platforms” out there that claim to be highly respected business but behind the scenes this is how they run their business.The lack of transparency regarding their decision-making process only added insult to injury. Shopify’s refusal to disclose the results of their supposed “reviews and investigations” is a slap in the face to loyal customers like myself. To add insult to injury, they have now informed me that they will be holding my funds without any valid and reasonable explanation. It’s as if they are holding my business hostage, with no regard for the blood, sweat, and tears I poured into building it.This callous disregard for the livelihoods of small business owners is reprehensible and speaks volumes about Shopify’s priorities. It’s clear that Shopify cares more about its bottom line than the well-being of its customers. I demand accountability and transparency from Shopify. Small business owners deserve better treatment than this.Beware of Shopify’s false promises and empty assurances. Behind the facade lies a company willing to crush your dreams without a second thought. In conclusion, I urge fellow small business owners to think twice before entrusting their livelihoods to Shopify.
