Completely unreliable, careless and disrespectful

Never! Never! Never shop!!This was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had.I ordered Bottega Veneta slingback heels through ShopThing Live. The order was confirmed, giving me the clear impression that the item was secured. After that, there was silence, delays, and zero accountability. Only after repeated waiting for more than a month I thought of enquiring regarding the order and came across that the shoes were sold to someone else. This is so unprofessional and the customer care lady Mariam didn’t care much telling me that we will refund you!! What made this even worse was how casually this was handled. They simply refunded the amount, with no genuine apology, no ownership of the mistake, and no concern for the inconvenience caused. For a luxury shopping platform, this level of indifference is shocking. A refund is the bare minimum — it does not excuse misleading customers, wasting their time, or ruining plans for important occasions.This purchase was for a time-sensitive family event, and their lack of professionalism caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. If ShopThing cannot confirm inventory, they should not be selling or “confirming” these items at all. Their process is clearly broken, and the customer ends up paying the price.This experience shows a complete lack of reliability, transparency, and customer care. I would strongly warn others not to trust ShopThing Live for luxury or urgent purchases. They take no responsibility when things go wrong — they just refund and move on, leaving the customer to deal with the consequences.
