It's taken us 6 weeks to set up this card for my dad's carer. It's very complicated and involves uploading lots of documents, which then fail and have to be sent in. The card took 2 weeks to arrive in the post and has been difficult to get it to work once we received it. Involving multiple trips to the cash machine to try and activate it. I think we've realised that if you try to check the balance at a cash machine it will reject the card and tell you to contact the card issuer. We've finally got it working but surely there must be simpler cards out there. The app is also not available outside of the UK making it tricky as my sister lives overseas.
