I set up this account for my Mum who has sever memory loss and struggles to manage her money (we think she has early onset dementia but the tests haven’t picked this up yet, very common apparently). The way the account and card system is set up is really clever and allows my Mum to have the freedom of using her card but with limits that I can help her manage stopping fraud/excessive spending.I think the main benefit is that I’m not having to explain the situation to another stuffy back who makes me feel like I’m doing something untoward/imagining the situation with my Mum. The very nature of Sibstar means that every one I speak to understands our situation and is sympathetic towards it which means a lot because it’s a very emotional situation that myself and my brother are finding ourselves in.
