I recently picked up the 1/6 scale ROTJ Klaatu from Sideshow, and this has easily become one of my favorite pieces in their Scum & Villainy line.
The first thing that stands out is the nostalgia factor. If you grew up with Return of the Jedi like I did, this figure immediately takes you back. Klaatu is one of those background characters that stuck with me as a kid, and seeing him brought to life at this level of detail is just impressive.
The sculpt is excellent—especially the head sculpt. The texture, expression, and overall likeness feel very true to the film. The outfit is also well done, with a natural, worn-in look that fits perfectly with the Jabba’s Palace aesthetic.
Articulation is solid, and the figure poses well without fighting you, which is always a plus at this scale. Accessories are simple but appropriate, and nothing feels cheap or overlooked.
Overall, this is a standout piece for any Star Wars collector, especially if you appreciate the more obscure characters from the original trilogy. Sideshow really nailed the look and feel of this one.
