We were really excited about the Silky Gem videos—my kids and I were obsessed! Living in the Netherlands, we couldn’t find them anywhere locally, so when we finally got our hands on some, we were thrilled.Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the hype. All those videos made them look so crunchy and delicious, but the amount of sugar was overwhelming. It gave us all a brain freeze, and my kids didn’t enjoy them at all. Now we’re left with a bunch of Silky Gems sitting on the counter.I’m not upset with anyone—it’s my fault for falling into this internet trend. I told my kids to take this as a lesson: not everything online is as good as it seems. At least we learned something from the experience.
