I am an undergraduate that was working on my associate of applied sciences in the petroleum process technology program at MGGCC. While enrolled there I took as many courses they allowed at the school. What I thought I could finish online I did while having to work in the oilfield to support my family. Once completed those the instructor said= Ohhhh there’s a few more classes you have to take here. I was in awwww as I knew my mother was ill. The fact was that was almost impossible to do working 7x12s in the Gulf of Mexico. So I asked for a land job close to a rig with my company. They graciously found me one with Chevron Grand Chenier project. Not to far from Sowela Technical College in Lake Charles. So then I worked 7 x 12s and went to college 4 days a week. Exhausted and burnt out I managed to barely pass the class. After doing that she told me I had more classes to take. I just couldn’t belief no matter how hard I tried it wasn’t enough. Then the oilfield went under out of 60 employees 52 were laid off including me. But said part of this is how I once again was used. This system we have has to designed better than this. Manipulation of a trying spirit is not the way to go. I don’t know what the future holds for me. But I pray to God it’s less usury . As I was told I couldn’t enter the college to begin with because the Harrison county jail used my information for a program that never even existed. I had to fight and proof to them that I never was in any program. Needless to say I’m not giving up and I hope your child never has to endure a second of what I have. Because you see when your out there and alone. Life can be even harder. I have gave my family all there was to give into the point of bankruptcy. For the first time in 15 years I realize most of the people in my life are my problem. It’s time to sweep the slate clean for good.All the deceptions and false precedence needs to be placed on the table. Grab your plate and go. You earned a fair sharing. As I felt reluctant to pursue action at those times. I feel confident in a stating of replacement of your error. Now I will ask for you to respectfully clean up your mess.Timothy Creel esq.
