I have been dealing with simply business class for many years now and in most cases have been more than happy with the service. As a result of Covid a booked flight with them had to be cancelled, and under their fare rules they do not provide a refund only a credit for another flight. We used that credit to book business class fares from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi with Etihad. We found out that both Etihad and Emirates, despite being a part of a broad industry coalition of airlines that works with companies like simply business class, do not honour in many cases flights booked with them. To the credit of Vitaliy, who we have been working with for some time at simply business class, he came up with a solution that was more than acceptable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were not disadvantaged. My experience means that I will more than likely never ever fly with Emirates or Etihad.
