I bought two sets of prescription glasses (sunglasses and "inside" glasses)...both included progressive prescriptions. I have about 5 years of history with SimplyEyeglasses with multiple purchases. I am very satisfied with their selection of rims and the quality of the finished product. However, I am less than satisfied with the timeliness of delivery. My last order took over a month to complete and my previous orders averaged 3 to 4 weeks per order. The web site is deficient in providing order status/progress updates between the initial order and shipping. To the positive, customer relations is generally responsive and engaging however it appears the business model response for delayed deliveries is to blame it on the prescription manufacturer (apparently subcontracted). To be honest, I hold SimpleEyeglasses responsible for the entire process end-to-end and have been disappointed with the deflection on orders gone bad (my last 3). I believe a revamped tracking system (a lot like Domino's pizza making tracker) would go a long way in mitigating this problem. I want to like SimplyEyeglasses but they really need to work on their subcontractor relationships and tracking platform...absent an improvement in these two areas I am likely to research other options going forward.
