I think I left a review with a no-star rating—by mistake—it was a glowing review. I'm sorry to muck up the overall rating for Simply Eyeglasses—they've been very, very good to me over the years—but I hope these five stars help a little. Here's what I had to say:
I just received my ninth pair of glasses/sunglasses from Simply Eyeglasses, and I have to say I’m impressed. First of all, the price is very good: a hundred dollars less than my local one-hour shop, every time (for my frame + progressive polycarbonate lenses), but I really appreciate the customer service. For one pair of glasses I wanted a different frame color than they offered, and when I inquired, they searched and found the frame in that color, had it shipped in, and voila, I had the glasses I wanted. For this most recent frame, the color was a spotty tortoise shell, but I didn't like the spots—which was totally subjective—but once again, when I asked if Simply Eyeglasses could do anything, the answer was an emphatic yes. They ordered a new frame, emailed me photos of it for my approval, and bang, I got the glasses I wanted. Pretty darn nice! (I’m all about the frames, but the lenses are great, too. No problems!)
