The first time I ordered from Simply eyeglasses it took four months and five attempts for them to get me a pair of working glasses. I hung in there through 4 pairs of their high end Kodaks before they ordered Seiko lenses made outside their lab. The Seiko’s worked perfectly. I was really happy that they had supplied me with great glasses, even though it had taken a lot of effort. I was pleased with the final result.
A few years later I ordered a new pair of the Seiko lenses I liked so much. Three weeks later they finally arrived, and the lenses were tilted at different angles because they had been so badly mounted to the frames. The lenses were set too wide apart, and there were no laser etched markings on the lenses to indicate they were made by Seiko, or that the lens material was the more expensive Trivex. Basically, I received badly assembled “no-name” lens eyeglasses that I could not use.
I returned them, and Simply Eyeglasses then refused to do anything to help me further. They would not give me a coherent answer why. It appeared suspicious to me, and felt like they were blowing me off after my discovery that the lenses were not branded as Seiko lenses! Four weeks of waiting and nothing to show for it.
Spend your money somewhere else. I should have learned my lesson the first time.
