At first John Hall was very helpful. They gave us options when we thought we didn’t have any but we told them at the start that we were using a specific solicitor. We were over the moon when they found us a lender and started the application process only to find out that lender wouldn’t work with our solicitor. They gave us no other options which is fine as I understand that the lenders they work with will be limited.It all went wrong when we e thanked them for their help but said we weren’t continuing with them. Even though they claim that you’re under no obligation they soon turn nasty when you actually say no.Awful scare tactics being used in harassing emails stating that we won’t find any better deals and that our credit file is too bad to be considered anywhere else. Super condescending in their emails and preying on people hoping they can scare them into reconsidering.Just be warned you need to look at other options 100% because you can definitely get better rates than they offer but they make you feel like you can’t. They offered 6.36% and we ended up getting 4.64% so make sure to shop around
