The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because of EJ in customer service. Out of the several people I talked to, he was the only redeeming one in my opinion. 3+ weeks for back order is just too much. Especially when i expected them to have the part in stock since the website didn't say otherwise. Was told at one point that it would, FOR SURE, ship by a certain day, I call a week after being told that... going to be another 1-2 weeks. Too bad, the other products i have from SD are good quality, but this experience was bad enough for me to not want to come back. To wrap up on a good note, EJ was really helpful, understanding and incredibly polite the entire time, my word to SD, keep that guy happy, you don't wanna lose good employees.Reply #1: There indeed was miscommunication on the backorder. Initial email received 29MAY17, expected ship date 5-7 days. After a call on 5JUN17 (7 days later) as previously mentioned, I was told it would FOR SURE ship by 7JUN17. After giving you the benefit of the doubt, I waited until 13JUN17 to call again, only to be told it would HOPEFULLY be shipped out early the following week, but maybe two more weeks depending on your shop/powder coater. Early next week (best case scenario) is 19JUN17, what my gut tells me, is that it will probably land closer to the two week mark, making it 26JUN17. Far too long for me PERSONALLY. Reason for the detailed dates in reply was per your request for better clarification on the entire situation. Unfortunately there is nothing to be done at this point in time.Update (14JUN17): Just received a call from SD with an apology and further explanation on the situation for the product previously ordered. That gives me a little faith in the company that they are indeed trying to make things right, even if it is just a quick phone call. Will change the rating to 3 stars, but doing so hesitantly. In the future, if I make another purchase with SD, I will definitely be calling before I order to make sure they have the parts in stock.Update (25JUL17): DONE with this company. After being told on 14JUN17 that they were sending me swag to make up for all the confusion, WELL over a month later, no SWAG has arrived. If they cant get a simple swag package out to try and patch up their mistake, why would I EVER trust them with a vitally important part to my vehicle. Seriously disappointed with this company and how they do business.
