We recently booked a table for four at Six by Nico on Byres Road, Glasgow, excited to experience their Istanbul-themed menu. As enthusiasts of Turkish cuisine, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.The concept revolves around very small taster dishes, but most of them were quite unpalatable. The Adana Kebab, in particular, was a letdown – it was no larger than a small marble. Overall, the meal did not justify the cost. The dessert was equally underwhelming, but I won’t go into details.
