My second pair of Skechers trainers. The first pair wore out after a year, and although that seemed quite a short life, I ordered a further pair of the same style because they were pretty comfortable. The second pair only lasted 15-16 weeks before the sole detached from the shoes plus the sole was so worn that small stones started pushing through to my foot. Contacted customer service with copious photos and explanation, but they said this amounted normal wear and tear. SO, if you consider 15-16 weeks of normal usage an acceptable lifespan, go ahead and give them £70+. If not, avoid Skechers. You can probably make similarly robust footwear by getting creative with an old piece of foam and a carrier bag.
