This site has been super beneficial for me in getting a start on being an independent CFI. The platform is easy to use and maintain, the outreach is good, and the support is great! Nick is always helpful if I have any questions and he will periodically check in to make sure things are still going well. I hope more pilots discover Skyfarer because this is a key asset in getting your name out there and building connections!
Skyfarer is well-executed and unique in what it provides for instructors and students to link with each other. The platform is well done and makes for easy direct communication between student and instructor. The most valuable part is that it can be used for any training needed- pre-training intro questions, checkride prep, private to commercial route, I even just did a night currency flight with someone through the site. Also their customer service is excellent, very genuine and prompt. I am looking forward to seeing Skyfarer grow.
Up and coming company with huge potential. The platform is great and the leadership team is going to great lengths for both instructors and students to make the platform the best it can be. This is a great platform for independent CFI's looking for remote work using their skills and knowledge. It's easy to schedule meetings and provide your students with help in the specific areas they're struggling in. I created a customized ground training for a student starting from ground zero, and I've met with other students who needed aircraft specific help or just some extra tutoring. This platform is great for both situations and very flexible and accommodating for instructors! The extra support from the founder and other instructors has also been a major bonus for me!
I recently did my Commercial ASEL mock checkride with Scott K.. He was so helpful in my preparation for my checkride, giving me great feedback. We went over everything I needed (endorsements, logbook requirements, etc.) first, and it reminded me of a few things I had to do beforehand. He gave me honest feedback that really helped me go into my checkride with confidence. Really liked the experience overall and would book again!
