And from the very first time you end up on their page, it's made clear that this isn't about music : it's about Slate being the best. But. - The desktop app is a bit instable at times- The whole subscription bundle is somewhat messy : loading times, bugs, artefacts, etc- M1 support came way too late for a subscription model- The 6 month engagement you get when you wanna stop your subscription- The way Slate interacts on its social mediasSo many other things. When, all things considered, its products are really great. They sound absolutely amazing. But in the end, subscribing without any counterpart - even tho the bundle is absolutely stacked with plenty options - and the way it bugged out on me many times on many critical jobs (iLok model for subscription? Really?) was the end of it for me...and some other producers I know. Will still keep an eye out for their products. But couldn't justify keeping a subscription model that instable on my systems.
