The process of getting quotes was easy. The choice of chargers was good. The delivery of the charger was prompt. The permission to go ahead with installation was quickly obtained and the date for installation came soon after with the qualified electrician sourced by Smart Home. Half the job was done on the electricians first visit because he hadn't got the correct size connector he needed. The electrician said he could not hard wire the charger into a network point I had created close to the charger. I rang Smart Home and they arranged for me to pay the electrician a fee to do that extra job. The second visit was delayed because I was on holiday so it happened on the day I was collecting my electric car which complicated matters a little. On completion of the installation the "hand over" could not be done because neither the hard wired connection or the wi-fi connection could be found. The electrician told me to get in touch with Smart Home and left. I contacted Smart Home and a very patient person tried several ways of rectifying the situation for 45 minutes then raised a "Ticket". I continued to check the system and found a switch that had been turned off when I went on holiday had not been turned back on. Problem solved. I called Smart Home and explained the development and cancelled the "Ticket". So this was my fault but the lack of effort (knowledge of digital systems) on the part of the electrician didn't help at all.
