WARNING

WARNING! After struggling with my “Smartpodz” in my Nespresso VertuoPlus for a bit, I’m sharing my honest feedback. It’s a well-built unit and works well for an 80ml or 40ml expresso. However, I cannot recommend it for anything except a double expresso. It ONLY takes one scoop of coffee so if you want the 230ml Mug or the 150ml Grand Lungo, it is going to be weak brown water. Smartpodz should disclose this AND they don’t! At least include some instructions, which they don’t. And why send it out with the 230ml bar code for certain weak coffee failure? Second, NO RETURNS! That RED FLAG should have scared me off, but no, so now I have an expensive paper weight. Third, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE by email or phone! I guess they don’t have to care since you can’t return it. Fourth, shame on Howie for endorsing a company that is on the edge of unethical.I hope this helps someone, good luck!
