I had an extremely bad experience with SmartProxy, and unfortunately it ended as a clear scam.
I deposited $9.98 via USDT. They told me the minimum amount is $10 and explicitly promised that the $9.98 would be refunded the next day to my SmartProxy wallet if I purchased again. Based on that promise, I trusted them and bought another 10GB package by card.
From that moment on, everything turned into excuses and delays.
Every day the same answer: “tomorrow.”
No refund, no action, no accountability.
Their story kept changing:
First: “Refund tomorrow”
Then: “Only wallet refund”
Then again: “Tomorrow”
End result: nothing at all
I even suggested a reasonable alternative: converting the $9.98 into GB and adding it to my existing package. They refused that too.
At this point, it became obvious that they were just trying to avoid refunding the money.
This is unprofessional, misleading, and dishonest behavior.
The issue is not the $9.98 — it’s a trivial amount — the real issue is trust and credibility, which they completely failed.
Be very careful dealing with this company. If anything goes wrong with your payment, you may end up losing your money and wasting your time with false promises.
