I tried to check in at Gatwick for my 14.20 flight, and was issued a boarding card for a later flight. When I said that this was a mistake, they said it must be a mistake by my travel agetn, whom I would have to contact to sort it out.Unable to contact my agent, I showed the clerk my reservation details, and asked if he could put me on the flight I had booked. He was unable to do so (even though there were empty seats) because he was an agent himself, not Smartwings. I asked to speak to a Smartwings rep. There was none at the airport!I finally persuaded him to contact Smartwings in Prague. They said flatly that tickets were no-transferable, and that I must take the later flight.It MAY have been my agent's faults, but Smartwings showed a distinct lack of customer service, choosing to let a plane go off with an empty seat rather than help (at no cost to themselves) a customer with problems.
