SMS-iT is a great tool for 2-way text (SMS and MMS) messaging with your audience. But, what really makes it GREAT is the customer support. We switched to SMS-iT from PB for better user experience. I've used the native chat feature several times with questions and problems and they have been simply awesome! I highly recommend it.There's a Cloud version and Decentralized version. The Cloud version provides EVERYTHING you'll need to get started. We are using SMS Decentralized. With this you'll need your own mobile phone number (this is just the way we chose to do it). There are many options for connecting a number, including using SMPP gateway on a server, or your existing cell phone number (I recommend using a different one) or getting a new one and they guide you through the set up. We actually got a new number and installed it on an old cell phone that we don't use for anything else. It was very easy.
