I honestly do not believe it, Snow and Rock in Ireland are closing and also are there cotswold branch in town.It is a shock and a blow to the outdoors in the Republic, having been a costumer over nearly 10 years, having my family buy there ski gear there over years and knowing the guys and girls well.Anytime I have been in there it has always been busy and ski boot fitting and servicing is booked in advance so it came as a big surprise.Having only bought a pair of new ski boots this year, where am I to go with my two year warranty or custom fitting ? I was told I could have store credit but what good is that? Also in euro and not sterling so usless. They have no website in which I could buy and get anything sent to Ireland. I was told I could go to my nearest local store which im not sure if you guys know this, but its up in Belfast, which if you dont know is just over 2 hours way from Dublin and is over 4 hours from Cork not very feasible, So if I'm not mistaken they dont ski boots fitting or servicing. So I ask again what am I to do fly over to England?Having looked at most of the reviews on here, I would be very nervous over in England too. Looks to me like rats leaving a sunken ship.I will on to the CCPC tomorrow to see my rights in this matter and if any rules have been broken like offering 2 gear guarantee? Also a possibility of the small clames court if anyone else in Ireland reads this I would to the same.Avoid these charlatans at all costs.
