Avoid this company like you would avoid the plague! We had a large orangery extension built by solar frame between January 2025 and completed in May 2025 and I definitely would not recommend this company. Don’t be fooled by the slick sales process because the minute you pay the deposit and sign the contract anything that is slick will evaporate into dust. This company treats customers like they’re a nuisance they lie, send unsupervised contractors, fit the poorest quality they can get away with and when you complain your treated like a difficult customer. One of the doors was such poor quality we have already replaced it. Edit: To be clear this was replaced at our own cost by another company. Not replaced by solar frame under warranty as they are suggesting in their response. We did raise it as anissue but were told nothing would be done about it. All contractors are not employed by solar frame and there is absolutely no supervision or project management, they didn’t even arrange for the building control inspector to come.Pretty sure he only signed it off because solar frame pressured him to do so. If you do use this company which I strongly suggest you don’t, definitely get your own building inspector and arrange for them to visit at key pints yourself. Also don’t be fooled by the supposed 10 year guarantee, as 5 months after finishing the build the patio doors are falling apart partly due to poor fitting and partly due to poor quality - they said a fitter would come in 3 weeks, on the date booked in they never arrived, they then booked another date in for a week later and have just called to say they can’t make it now. There is a repeated pattern if you look carefully through the poor reviews many people are saying the same thing. The sales people tell you you can change aspects of the initial order form ie add radiators, lights etc at no extra cost. But when it comes to it and you try to add say a radiator they charge you an extortionate amount and say it’s not in the contract - don’t be fooled make sure everything is written down in the contact and don’t believe a word the sales people say because they will happily lie to your face.
