We feel that we were not told the complete truth. We were told we were not working with a loan broker and that all funding would be through Solvent Funding. After signing all the contracts and everything being approved, 2 days plus the weekend passed with no money being deposited in our account. Then we had another funding company call us to tell us they were now our new funding company and that we didn't need to contact Solvent for anything else. When we mentioned to the gentleman from Solvent that we had been discussing funding with other funding companies, he got a little aggressive. He told us we would be funded by Solvent Funding, but in reality Solvent sold our contract to another funding comany without telling us. We feel this was a betrayal of our trust with Solvent. If you use Solvent Funding just be aware, after you get approved, and waiting several days for your money to be deposited, you will get another phone call from the real funding company. In my opinion, Solvent Funding is a funding brokerage just like all the rest. Be prepared to have maximum pressure put on you!! If you ask for a few days to think about they'll tell you the offer may not be available and they'll have to start over. Horrible experience.
