I have to give 1 star because there is no option for zero stars. I made a claim on September 24th and have been continuously following up since then. It was clearly the fault of a third party. I told Somerset customer care to request the CCTV footage from the council, but I don’t believe they even reviewed it. One day, I received a letter stating that, "in our view, this is 100% your fault." I was shocked – this is ridiculous and completely false, as it was clearly a third-party fault. I was driving straight in my lane when the third party overreacted, came from the wrong side, and intentionally hit my car. This is all shown in the CCTV footage.It seems that Somerset didn’t properly handle the case and fabricated a report, sending me a letter claiming it was my fault. Why am I paying £140 a month for insurance if this is how they handle claims? I’ve clearly stated that I will take legal action in small claims court for this fraudulent investigation if they continue to try to close the case through their inactivity
