I'm writing to express significant concerns about the performance of Songtools' promotion service. Since engaging their company's services, my Spotify plays had declined dramatically from 183 plays per day to just 82 plays per day over the past week. I was only using SongTools at this time to see if they were better than the last company I used. This represents a 55% decrease rather than the gradual growth I paid for.To verify that the issue was with their service and not my content, I contacted the previous promotion company that uses ads to promote songs to actual people online instead of playlists. Within just 48 hours, my daily plays increased to 353, more than quadruple what I'm currently receiving and nearly double my baseline before using Songtools.This comparison clearly demonstrates that their service failed to deliver any meaningful promotional value. Instead of growth, I've experienced a significant decline while paying for their services.I also noticed that any playlists my song was placed in never stayed in the list for very long. This indicates to me that the placement was just to show that the song was placed and not intended to help me gain listeners. UPDATE 11/5/2025After my post here on Trustpilot, the performance of my track improved. My campaign ended. The plays for just my track peaked at 222, and after the campaign, they leveled to 189. To protect my numbers, I had gone back to the previous promotion company to launch another track at the same time, I had a great increase in my Spotify follower number. It is currently at 484. So, I think at least for comparisons, although not apples to apples, the improvement to my Spotify account was not due to the campaign for playlist placements with Songtools. It was due to using Ads with another company. Songtoos had some impact in returning the play count to its previous level for my track, but that has to be validated sometime after the campaign.
