When we first saw the advertisement for this toothbrush, we thought it was just the right one for our disabled son to use! He has little coordination of his hands and this style is easier for him to put into his mouth than is a traditional toothbrush. The vibrations seem to work well, too. It's soft on his gums and reaches all of his teeth, top and bottom, with less effort and more coverage. He liked it so much that we purchased a second one for him when the first one wore out.
