Poor Customer Service

Ordered a fountain from this company. The process began well - good customer service. Ultimately, the fountain was damaged upon arrival. Was willing to overlook this - but the hole for cords (in the basin) was also not present as indicated. I was told that was an error BUT that if I were to have the hole drilled, I'd waive the warranty. Further, the auto fill and light kit we ordered were not with the fountain (and becuase of how it was wrapped, that was not clear until the fountain was unboxed). When I contacted the company, they apologized for failing to send all items, but then tried to tell us to do installation differently from the instructions, going as far as telling us to use a conduit (not part of the instructions at all). I had to have my installer come back twice, as well as having to relay many, many Soothing Company emails that had conflicting information about installation. I was then told I was disregarding information and that I shouldn't have a third party installer (how is a single person supposed to be able to lift and install a large, heavy fountain?) and more. I will make the best of it - and pay for two visits from installer, as well as pay him to repair the damages to the fountain. I would never order from this company again. They provided a very small refund, but only after really pressing them and spending too much time trying to explain the scenario, which they kept disrgarding. Recommend you find another company to order from.
