Over the last few years, I’ve both bought and sold with this busy auction house and have always been happy with the service. I’ve seen a few critical reviews on Trustpilot which don’t reflect my experience. I think sometimes people are unfamiliar with the unique requirements of the auction process (buying or selling) and expect it to be like a regular retail transaction and it’s not. With auctions, there is an element of “buyer beware” and you do need to fit in with the auction house’s requirements in regard to drop off times, collection times, payment terms, unsold items etc. And they won’t always take what you’ve got - I’ve had many items refused! It’s all part of it. It’s not for everyone but it’s a fun way to make some money from items you no longer want or pick up a great bargain. Anyway, that’s my tuppence worth on SDA and auctions in general.
