Your company was initially called in by my wife and I to do an electrical job at my home for which I paid in full and will admit for which I was very much satisfied. Based on that first positive interaction with your company my wife and I subsequently called to have you assess and quote on our HVAC situation at our home. During this assessment a misunderstanding apparently took place with the technician in conjunction with what we could have only assumed was his supervisor quoting us on the phone what we thought was Sixteen Hundred dollars but later turned out to be 16 thousand dollars. We discovered this misunderstanding when we called the company early the following morning to advise them that they charged our credit card too much and that they had apparently added a zero in error. It was at that stage we realized it was us who made the error as the person on the phone advised that the quoted amount was in the thousands and not hundreds. Based on the apparent new cost we instantly and immediately said we could not afford it and canceled the job. (We have multiple text messages to prove our immediacy of cancellation.) We asked at that point to simply reverse the charges which had been taken off of our credit card. It is since that request was made that our nightmare started with apparently no end in sight. We have been given the run around every day since then. We spoke to a person who said the accountant was out for a week, then we spoke to someone who said they would call us back ( this happened 4 times). We have never been called back. Eventually we contacted the illusive accountant only for her to tell us she has not received any instructions from her manager to reverse the charges. Mind you it was initially the manager who told us the accountant was not at work for the week and that he would call us back.
