I've used southern phone for about a year now and haven't had the best experince with them. They were the cheepest provider at the time and the plan came with a free router so that was a big plus at the time, so if you are on a tight budget, this isn't the worst option.
In my first month, I had a lot of contectivity issues. I called to complain and a services representative was able to assist me in editing the optimisation settings and then internet worked much better through the period.
There were some issues where the network would be down on some days for 2-4 hours. Whilst infrequent, it was frequent enough to be a nuiscenes for someone who works from home.
My main issue is at times, the live chat customer service is quite poor. I was advised that I can cancel my plan on a particular date and not receive any charges. I cancelled on the date but still received a bill for the full month. After requesting a refund, they completely ignored my initial questions and advised that they can only give a partial refund. So I'm quite dissapointed with the customer service.
