Louis Maria was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. He is a traditional broker, working with term loans and more traditional products. He helped me get out of the sleazy MCA loan that was sucking me dry. He is good at creating a strategy and executing. A good person to save in your contacts.
I took a business loan two years ago. The loan broker told me all I qualified for was a Merchant Cash Advance. Before long it started draining my cash flow. I found a different broker and he told me the same thing so I took another MCA loan bc I had to. Then a third broker told me he could get me a Line of Credit and an SBA loan but I had to take a small MCA loan to get on their books and have access to the other products. So I took a 3rd. After I took her MCA loan she stopped answering my calls. Finally I received a call from Francis at South Shore. He informed me that all of that was BS. He started the application for an SBA loan. But my cashflow was completely depleted at this point from the MCA loans and I needed money within 2 days to make payroll or my whole staff would quit. He told me the only thing he could get that quickly was an MCA but promised he was going to finish the SBA process and pay off all of my debt. I took a leap of faith and took a 4th MCA loan, although I really had no choice. South Shore stuck to their word and finished the process. They got me a 150K Fast Track SBA loan. It is appx 10% APR with monthly payments and a 10 year term. I am so grateful I took their call and took that leap of faith. I was about to close my business and they literally saved me. The only debt I have now is the SBA loan and the payment is night and day compared to what it was. I was paying $6000 a week and now I pay $1200 a month and it is much more manageable.
