I purchased a dedicated server (Auction #334303, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X) for blockchain data indexing. The platform allowed me to top up my balance and place the order without requesting KYC at any point during the process.After some time, the server was suspended due to what appears to have been a false-positive netscan detection. I cooperated fully and offered to stop the indexing activity to resolve the issue.Instead of restoring access, I was informed that completing KYC was now mandatory. When I respectfully declined due to privacy concerns, I was denied both the service and a refund of my remaining €83 balance.While I understand that platforms may have KYC policies, I believe such requirements should be clearly communicated before accepting payment. Retroactively enforcing KYC and withholding funds without prior notice does not feel fair or transparent.I hope the company reconsiders how it communicates these policies and handles such cases going forward.
