Well… where do I start. The show was meant to begin at 7:30pm, but didn’t actually start until 8:35pm — over an hour standing around in the freezing cold with kids. Not a great start. The fairground felt really overpriced and poorly organised. £5 for Hook-a-Duck is just ridiculous, and there were no clear prices displayed for most of the rides, which honestly made it feel a bit like a money grab.Food-wise, there was plenty of choice, but again very overpriced. We didn’t even bother. Also, only one place selling hot drinks… on a freezing night?! Come on.The Taylor Swift tribute act was… painful. Completely out of tune and really not enjoyable to listen to at all. Now, the actual drone show — visually, it was good to watch, I’ll give them that. But the storyline they tried to create with it just didn’t land at all. It felt a bit random and didn’t really keep you engaged. In fact, quite a few people started leaving halfway through — and honestly, you could see it just as well from your car with the heating on, which says it all really.Overall, disappointing for the price and the hype. Definitely wouldn’t go again.
