What I like most about Spanishland is the structure. Everything is very well structured so you always know what to do. Each month, Andrea focuses on a particular grammar topic with accompanying lessons and a private podcast. The lessons are a video and tests. She also includes songs and videos of stories in Spanish to help with comprehension. The podcast is great because you can study when you are away from your computer. The Parcero program also includes four different writing exercises. A member of the team then corrects your writing in detail via a Google Doc. These are online lessons so you are responsible for doing the work but Andrea sends you emails and releases new videos and podcasts each week so you will not forget. Finally, Spanishland offers immersion studies in Colombia which are not included in the program but very much worth doing to improve the most difficult thing in language learning - speaking. Just like the online lessons, my time in Colombia was incredibly well structured so I was never alone and I always had opportunities to speak with a native Spanish speaker who did not speak English. My time studying with Spanishland has greatly improved my Spanish and I highly recommend the online course. If you decide to spend a week or more in Colombia, you will meet her lovely, warm, friendly family and it will be an unforgettable experience that will definitely improve your speaking and comprehension.
