Before you read any other review or decide to start using Spartan Trading, you need to consider two things: 1. with about 1,000 members in the swing trading room and another 500 or so in the live trading room, Spartan makes about $300,000+ a month with subscription fees. With that in mind, it really doesn't matter what his performance is like day in or day out as far as trading is concerned - at the end of the month he will be collecting revenue no matter his performance in trading, and as such, it is much easier for him to remove emotions from trading and just take all the trades that he calls out. If a trade works, cool. if it doesn't, oh well, still has $300k coming at the end of the month. Regardless of scaling in or out, or "controlling risk" as he champions so many times, he is essentially removed from losses in such a way that no subscriber is.2. He contacts his subs and offers a free month if they post a positive review, so this review section isn't as organic as it seems. While some of the other poor reviews are clearly chapped about losing money, my intent is not to defame or assert that his service is worthless - but rather that there are a couple of red flags that you should be wary off before proceeding down this road. It is possible to make money using his system, but be aware that most don't and there are some transparency issues that can develop if you spend any amount of time in his room. Here are some more things you should be aware of before starting down the road.First off, there is a very real lack of transparency. Despite numerous webinars and posting trade call outs throughout the day, it is very seldom that he will post actual proof of staying with the trades all the way through. I am sure that he is making trades, however after the call out, you're kind of on your own as far as adding into or scaling out of a position. While he will consistently call out "1000%+" trades, those are far and few between and there are many more that end up getting stopped out. Any question of this ratio is met with "i have given you all the tools, this is your fault that you are not making money. I've given you three separate 1000%+ trades, if you're still down, that's your fault." While that certainly may be true, after spending 18 months in the rooms, you have to wonder how successful his ratio is without there being that much proof of the trades. Doesn't matter if he is making money on the trades, he is making more selling subscriptions. One thing that he could do to clarify that misunderstanding is post his trade logs at the end of the day. It doesn't need to be P/Ls or numbers of shares/contracts, but rather just the times of the buys and sells so that users can better understand how he is adding and scaling out relative to the charts he is using. With the above in mind, there is no real way to tell if he buys hundreds of contracts of a specific strike and then sells them for a 5-10% profit as his subs buy the contract, holding onto 1 just to track the percent gain that he could call out. If he really is taking the trades and riding them all the way through, then regularly posting proof of the trades would clarify any suspicion of both pumping-and-dumping as well as if he is really using his own system that he says works, despite a daily track record of more losses than wins if you take into account stops and selling targets.In short: be careful of your time in the room. You will see people posting to the Completed Trades sections that are making money, but that appears to be about 1% of the room.
