I contacted specrepairs to ask for a quote,was given quote of between £20-£30(In my mind meaning £30 would be the most it would be) plus vat&p&p.I sent glasses which cost me £10 for special insured delivery.I then recieve a phone call from Gina to tell me the price is £56.99,I nearly fell over!!!I proceeded to explain that was a shock considering what I had been quoted,Gina then put the phone down on me.I recieved an email with the quote, at that point I felt I didn't have much choice but to get the work done,as It was going to cost me another £10 to get them back,so that would be £20 spent,so I reluctantly agreed to pay the £56.99.Really not happy with the quote being nothing like the actual price, so be wary people,in total it has cost me £70 to fix some glasses that are probably only worth about £50.Good points,quick turn around.
