I feel compelled to share my experience with this company to caution future candidates against making the same mistake I did. The hiring process seemed typical until the final stages, where I faced an unexpectedly unpleasant situation. On a Friday, I received an email from the recruiter stating: “You have successfully passed all stages of the hiring process, and we would like to welcome you to the team!” We had a discussion, agreed on terms, and confirmed my start date for the following Wednesday. Based on this confirmation, I turned down another job offer, believing that my employment was secured. However, on the day I was meant to start, no one reached out to me. I contacted the recruiter twice that day—once in the morning and again in the evening—to inquire about onboarding. Eventually, I received a response indicating they had chosen to proceed with another candidate. In summary, the company initially welcomes you aboard and agrees on a start date, which leads you to decline other opportunities, only to later cite internal policies and another candidate. This behavior is not only disrespectful but also undermines the fundamental trust expected between an employer and an employee. I strongly recommend exercising caution when engaging with this company during the hiring process if you value your time. You may find yourself with nothing despite hearing the phrase, “Welcome to the team.”
