Ordered a Beretta 686 for my sons birthday. Gun arrived boxed, the box was undamaged. The box was opened, I put the gun together in front of my local RFD who had kindly agreed to accept the delivery on my behalf. As I put the foregrip on, the foregrip splintered and broke. It was also split in a second location. Sportsman Gun were quick to refute the gun had been sent in this condition and even suggested it may have been down to the courier (box was totally undamaged) or my local RFD had damaged the gun, which is both a dangerous and erroneous accusation. They agreed to take the gun back and send images of guns they had in stock, this didn't happen. they also offered to mix and match a foregrip from some they had "lying around" which would have meant me having a mix matched gun. I ended up asking for a refund. My son didn't have the gun for his birthday to use on the shoot we'd set up for him and the customer care of the business leaves me cold. Quick to blame others. poor customer service. they may be one of the bigger shops in the UK but they've lost a customer. Very poor experience.
