Love it, but i coukd really do with Aldi being kn the list and Pets at Home in store not just online.
I have submitted the request but its not something to sort yet apparently
That's the only down side!
So far ive been very impressed. I wasnt sure at first butnit genuinely does work. Could do with a few shops like Aldi and and in-store voucher for Pets at home for us personally but I cant fault the ethos or what the app is trying to do.
A great concept that works well! Within no more than a minute I have the gift voucher to pay for the shopping I was already doing. With cashback to pay towards my mortgage.
Wish I had known about the app sooner.
This app is a great idea and I’m loving it however would suggest below improvements:
- cashback linked to registered payment cards instead of buying vouchers
- when using vouchers, quick payments could be improved. I often struggle with page reloading esp when trying to use my Amex
- clearer feedback on how much saved so far (as well as how much you could save)
Sprive is a great app for saving money on your mortgage without changing your routine. You earn money towards your mortgage while shopping at everyday places like Tesco and Amazon, which feels like a win for stuff I’d be buying anyway. It’s easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I love knowing my regular shopping is helping reduce my mortgage. I’ve recommended it to friends loads of times.
I only managed to download the app and input my information before deciding to delete it. The process requires purchasing separate vouchers for different shops and involves a complicated two-step procedure for every transaction. It appears there are unauthorized charges from personal bank accounts with no clear consent. More transparency is needed regarding how the app connects with bank and mortgage accounts, as well as its revenue model and percentage. The experience is confusing, lacks clarity, and provides minimal confirmation or guidance, leaving users feeling lost. A nightmare... and I hadn't even begun shopping. I liked the concept, but the execution is far from polished. I wouldn’t trust something so crucial and sensitive with this kind of experience. Such a disappointment.
We have been using this service for several months, and my partner and I have managed to lower our mortgage payments by about £20 monthly through our regular activities. Since there are no extra costs involved, we see it as a fantastic solution, as every little bit helps.
Since I started using this app, I've been able to shorten our mortgage term by 2 years, despite being on a fixed rate for 2 years with a 40-year term—it's incredible! I never expected such fantastic results when I downloaded it. If you're considering trying this service, go for it; it's free and allows you to reduce your mortgage term just through cash back. Definitely the best discovery of 2025!
